Meetings
Overview
Meetings can be extremely effective in promoting good communication & building a positive team spirit. Many meetings, however, are ill-prepared & poorly run with the result that they have been referred to as an 'alternative to work'! This highly practical course will benefit all those who either need to run or participate in meetings on a regular basis.
Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- identify when and when not to hold a meeting
- plan, run and participate an effective meeting
- assess outcomes against specific objectives
To support the achievement of the above, you will have the opportunity to practise and develop your practical skills using a number of small group, paired and individual exercises.
