FACT
there is no longer such a thing as 'a job for life'. Organisations regularly undergo periods of structural and operational change often resulting in staff being disestablished from their current role. For many, it will have been several years since they have had the experience of proactively seeking redeployment within, or a new role external to the organisation.
This course has been designed to support those who find themselves in the position of having to find another role by sharing current best practices in both CV design and interviewing techniques.
Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- complete the design of a 'best practice' CV
- recognise the key elements of the interviewing process including preparation, questioning and creating the right impression
To support the achievement of the above, you will have the opportunity to practise and develop your practical skills using a number of small group, paired and individual exercises.
